Ingredients
8 Apples, cored and halved
0.5 cup sugar
0.5 Cinnamon stick
0.5 cup water
Directions
- Place all the ingredients in the inner pot. Close the Power Pressure Cooker's lid.
- Press the FISH/VEGETABLE button and set the cooking time to 4 minutes.
- When the steam has released, remove the lid and mash the applesauce.
- Carefully ladle the applesauce into jars, leaving an inch of space at the top of each jar.
- Using a flexible nonporous spatula, gently press down on the applesauce to release any trapped air bubbles.
- Clean the rims with white vinegar and seal the jars.
- Clean out the inner pot, place the jars in the inner pot, and add enough water to cover one quarter of the jars. Close the Power Pressure Cooker's lid.
- Press the CANNING/PRESERVING button and set the cooking time to 20 minutes.
- When the time runs out and the steam has been released, remove the lid and carefully remove the jars using canning tongs.
