The Power Pressure Cooker XL is the best pressure cooker on the market for cooking beef recipes. And for those in search of quick, easy, mid-week meals, the Power Pressure Cooker XL can be a lifesaver.

One of the best dishes to make for your family during the week using the Power Pressure Cooker XL is Sloppy Joes. These mouth-watering, messy sandwiches come out looking perfect every time thanks to the best pressure cooker money can buy.

Our Sloppy Joes recipe serves four people and includes the following ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of lean ground beef
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 1 cup of diced green bell pepper
  • 8 ounces of canned tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of spiced mustard
  • 5 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Once you have your ingredients measured out and ready to go, you’ll want to start the cooking process by placing the inner pot into the Power Pressure Cooker XL. Add the olive oil and press the “Rice/Risotto” button on your pressure cooker. Set the timer for six minutes.

Brown the ground beef in a pan and drain the excess fat. Cook the garlic and onions, as well. Once you’ve done so, add all the ingredients into the inner pot of your Power Pressure Cooker XL. Place the lid on the pressure cooker and lock it in place. Also be sure to switch the pressure release valve to “Closed.”

Once the timer reaches zero, the Power Pressure Cooker XL will automatically switch to “Keep Warm” mode. Once you’ve reached this stage, press the “Cancel” button and switch the pressure release valve to “Open.” Once the steam is released completely, remove the lid and then your Sloppy Joes are ready to serve.

Voila! You have a hearty, crowd-pleasing dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes. Cut even more time off by prepping vegetables on the weekends and your Monday night meal can come together in even less time.
